Dr. Michael Trayford
Dr. Michael Trayford was born and raised on the north shore of Long Island, New York,
in the quaint harbor town of  Port Jefferson.  He pursued many areas of interest early
including his passion for extreme sports and science.  In his parent's words he was going
to be an "engineer" of sorts.  His thirst for understanding and inquisitive nature led to the
beginning of his quest for knowledge and continuing education.

Dr. Trayford went on to receive his Bachelor's degree through the State University of New
York with concentrations in biology and chemistry, and he spent the next three and one half
years of consecutive study at New York Chiropractic College with a health care education
second to none.

Just prior to graduation Dr. Trayford enrolled in a program of studies in the field of functional
neurology through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies.  For the next three years Dr.
Trayford delved into the workings of the human brain and was humbled by the complexity of
the human nervous system.  Presently, he continues active pursuit of knowledge in the
areas of functional neurology and functional medicine/nutrition to the present day.

Over his lifetime Dr. Trayford has continuously been developing his humanitarian efforts
and he is currently an active member of Rotary International serving on local and
international projects.  Dr. Trayford donates time to local and national special interest and
support groups to share knowledge and understanding of his areas of expertise to assist
others in striving for their potential.

With Dr. Trayford's understanding of the physical human situation, coupled with
neurophysiological and biochemical components, there are virtually no conditions of
humankind that would not bode well by intervention with his areas of expertise.  He is
fulfilling his role as an "engineer" of sorts, although extremely humbled by this role, with the
human body and condition.
