Michael S. Trayford, BS, DC, DACNB

Diplomates of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB) are the first
chiropractors to receive full accreditation by the National Commission for
Certifying Agencies (NCCA), which is the accrediting body of the National
Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA).

There are very strict and demanding standards placed upon a chiropractic
neurologist to achieve and maintain diplomate status.  Due to these standards
there are less than 400 active diplomates of the ACNB.

At
Hampton Chiropractic & Wellness Center we practice in a "Brain
Based
" model of health.  The brain controls all body systems; and proper
functioning of these systems is dependent upon the integrity of the central
nervous system.  By the same token, brain health is dependent upon
appropriate and adequate feedback from these same body systems and the
environment we live in.

The 1990's were labeled the "Decade of the Brain" due to the extensive
amount of research regarding brain function and it's influence on body
systems, not just on thoughts and emotions.  These body systems, in turn, can
be utilized to improve brain function and overall health.  Treatments include,
but are not limited to: physical and neurological rehabilitation, nutrition, stress
management, structural balance, visual/auditory/olfactory stimulation,
behavioral/social modification and much more.
